Founded in 1938 by Dr. K.M. Munshi, the Bhavan has grown into an all India movement and has come to be recognized as one of the foremost pioneering institutions in the fields of education, art, literature and culture. The Bhavan has been playing a leading role over the last 78 years in the preservation and fostering of our heritage and culture synthesizing them with modernity for our future needs.
The Bhavan has all along been striving to achieve its 621 objectives through its 373 Constituent Institutions including Colleges and Residential Public Schools in different parts of the Country.

INTRODUCTION:
The noble thought of establishing a Full-fledged Senior Secondary School in Allahabad under the banner and umbrella of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan was conceived from 1998. The management Committee of Allahabad Kendra under the dynamic Chairmanship of Dr. D.S. Sinha took the decision to start a pre primary and primary school which will be developed into a fully fledged Senior Secondary School in a Phased manner.
